Single User Installation

To install a single license of DM HVAC or Electrical, run the installer on your computer and accept all of the defaults. Design Master will install the files to C:\Program Files\Design Master Software\HVAC or C:\Program Files\Design Master Software\Electrical.

Extract the Design Master license file to the shared network Design Master folder. If you are running both HVAC and electrical, extract it to both folders.

Installing New Versions

To install a new version, run the new installer on your computer. Make sure to have AutoCAD closed when you do this. Install Design Master to the same location that you originally installed it. The program files will be updated. No customization files, such as your standards and master database and drawing files, will be overwritten.
